Pale amber. Not much head. On the nose, there's a lot of sticky malts, some toffee in there, a touch of bread. Lots of bourbon in there, too. Soft body, light stickiness. There's a bit of vanilla sweetness, a touch of sticky malts. A touch of heat in the finish.

12oz @ Farees'. Appearance: hazy copper with a tan head. Aroma: fruity, caramel, bourbon, nice candied fruits. Taste: along the same lines. Finishes with a bit weird hoppy bitterness. Overall: not bad.

Clear copper with a small white head. Woody, barrel and lots of caramel. Bitter, sweet caramel and a long sweet bitter finish. Something is just not right on my palate. Can’t place it.

A golden cider with aroma of tart apples, light wooden barrel, light Brett, interesting. In mouth, tart mix of apples, bourbon barrel, light lemon, very dry. On tap at cidery.

Dark brown. Thin head. Some coffee and some molasses on the nose. Relatively light body, some dark sugars in there plus a gentle fruitiness, it’s a nice stout. Touch of acidity in there.

Near black. Thick head. Some roast, dark fruitiness, light leafy hops. Nice burnt notes, again some fruitiness. Full body. Nice complexity.

Can. Dark brown. Thick head. Dark brown, medium head. Nice roast, rich malt with some toasty, chocolatey complexity, and this is quite hoppy. Maybe not Sprecher Black Bavarian level but close…that’s a good thing. Damn solid schwarzbier, best I’ve had in a while.
