5.2/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 5 Texture 4 Overall 5
On tap at Alchemy, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, some soured candies and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with bitter piney hops, citrus, and biscuity malt. Old school character underneath. It's not my thing.

4.9/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 5 Flavor 5 Texture 4 Overall 4.5
On tap at Alchemy, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out some fungal notes, with earthy hops, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with fungal notes upfront, followed by earthy hops and bready malt. Maltier and more fungal than I'd want, and deficient in hops. Not so good.

On tap at Alchemy, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out English bready malt and some butter. Flavour is full of English bready malt, a touch of butter, and caramel. Fairly authentic, with that buttery palate. Not really my thing, but it's okay.

6.1/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 6 Texture 6 Overall 6.5
On tap at Alchemy,, pours a hazy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out grapefruity hops, some dankness, and biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly subdued, with gently dank hops, some biscuity malt, and pine. Smooth and easy, not as aggressive as some hazies.

5.6/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 6 Texture 4 Overall 5.5
On tap at Alchemy, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out an earthy coffee character upfront, with little else to speak of. Flavour is a little fuller but along the same likes, with an earthy coffee character and muted roasted malt. Not as dialed in as I hoped for, but not bad. Needs some tuning.

4.1/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 4 Flavor 4 Texture 4 Overall 3.5
On tap at Alchemy, pours a deep dark amber with a small tan head. Aroma brings out caramely bready malt upfront, with subdued earthy hops - this doesn't seem as intended. Flavour is puzzling, with bitter earthy hops, fungal notes, and bready malt. Very malt, lacking in hops and absent in wild character. Not sure what they were going for here. Poor.

6.5/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 7 Texture 6 Overall 7
On tap at Alchemy, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out candied sugar and maple upfront, with a bready malt. Flavour reveals bright maple syrupy notes upfront and dominating. Thankfully, the palate is not syrupy or cloying at all; it just showcases the maple nicely. I like this.
