Clear red body and little foam, very soft fruit on the nose. Nice sour cherry funk flavour, wheat notes, crisp yet not too overbearing. A good combo here.

650ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale straw colour with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Mild aroma of grainy pale malt, Belgian yeast and floral hops. Semi-sweet flavour of Belgian yeast, pineapple, honeydew melon, white wine, floral hops and pale malt in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Pleasant, but nothing special.

Draught at Steel & Oak, New Westminster
Blond colour, slightly hazy. Mild aroma, herbaceous, light petrol, somehow expected for some Brut IPAs. Dry mouthfeel, not weak, good malt base, robust bitterness, but no traits that truly qualifies this as a Brut IPA, including not being really dry and without the flavour profile.
Pleasant beer.

Slight haze, straw, thin head. The malts are a bit sticky, with a light fruity hop note, sweet, needs more hop, and a leaner pale malt combined with a bigger floral nz hop character would be ideal.

Aroma is sweet hops, fusels, seems chemically imbalanced. Has okay muddy brown liquid with a soft white head on top. Flavour is mellow peppery grains of no distinction. Mouthfeel is full, good crispness. This is decent enough though hardly spectacular.

Smells of decent hops and nothing else, has no foam and a soft semi-yellow body. Flavour is mellow hops and nothing else, mouthfeel is full enough. Perfectly okay, yet hardly a standout, abv is well hidden though.

Smells of good bright fruity raspberries, has a cloudy pink body with just a bit of white head on top. Flavour is nice sweet raspberries and not too sugary. Mouthfeel is crisp enough from the carbonation. This is a decent fruity ale, not much wheat in the mix though it seems.

On tap at the Fort Langley Beer & Food fest. So many bad tattoos at this thing..... would tattoo consulting be a business to get into? Might make more money than yet another brewery..... this smells of soft sweet grain, has a mellow brown-gold body with okay foam. Flavour is soft sugary sweetness of no distinction. Mouthfeel is full enough, we can thank all the sugar for that! Really boring, certainly tastes like a beer brewed by committee.

Golden, with a thick head. This has a fairly sweet malt profile. A bit sticky in the finish. Light florals, hint of piney hop, not bad. Definitely could stand to be drier and with a more complex hop profile.

Tasting at Erik's
Dark brown colour. Roasted malt aroma, even some fire. Good body, moderately sweet, strong roasted malts, cookies.
Not sure it's a Porter, but it's tasty.
