Bottle from Spinnakers bottle shop. Hayish malt and green leafy hop aroma, thick herbal, digestive comes to mind. Amber, offwhite head. Cookie and herb aftertaste. Very interesting.

Bottle. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly dry and the flavour is yeasty with some dryness. Overall a good beer but nothing out of the ordinary. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Pours a clear copper color with light persistent head. Aromas of pine and grapefruit with resin like notes. Flavors of spruce and malts. Light bitter finish. OK but nothing special.

On tap at the Alibi Room pours a dark amber brown with a small beige head. Faint aroma of dry cocoa powder and very light roast. Flavour of stale roasted malt and not much else. The opposite of complex - very watery and weak. Dull and lifeless - not good.

Dark brown color. Mild aroma of roasted malt, dust. Dry mouthfeel, some roasted malts, light chocolate presence, correct bitterness.
A bit too dry and roasty.

Hazy light amber color, small head. Aroma of refined sugars, maybe a hint of fruits. Poor flavor, some dry malt, sharp metallic bitterness, some final astringency. Must be tuned.

Sampled on tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose is full of wheat, slight honey and some grainy malts. Flavour of wheat and sort of honey - but it comes through all muffled and almost sour - sort of stale tasting. Not a good hef at all.

Sampled on tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is very grainy with a metallic overtone - not so inviting. Flavour brings out loads of grains, thankfully without the metallic notes. Drinks smooth enough but is obviously nothing special. Decent.

Bottle from Central City Liquor Store, Surrey
Hazy amber color. Aroma of caramel, malt, vegetables, herbal hops, light puke. Good body strength; it has strong caramel flavor, hard, with strong bitterness.
A pleasant caramelly brew, an unfresh IPA.
