Poured from the tap. Clear gold with small white head. Earthy rustic malt with mild grass hops. Okay, but needs more depth.

Poured from 473mL can (canned 07/05/2023). Clear gold with white head. Pomelo, pine, citrus hops, feint tropical note, some underlying sticky malt. Actually quite nice.

Hazy, pale, looks nice. Not much head, though. Quite estery on the nose, big yeast character, touch of plasticy phenols, a little bit of that dry-hopping. A touch of wheaty acidity. Ends up not bad, for a brewery that doesn't specialize in this style.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy blonde with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange, peach, mango, earthy yeast and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, tangerine, apricot, peach, mango, guava, earthy yeast, oats and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy, pillowy soft texture and average carbonation. Juicy and enjoyable.

Can @ Jaks Richmond. Beautiful bright amber. Medium head. Hops bright pine, lemon verbena, pomelo, and the malts are clean biscuity, touch of caramelization. Balanced, medium bitterness, a touch pithy. Mellow citrus notes, again a light but complex malt character. Damn, this is a rock solid IPA -probably the best new one in BC since that first batch of Greg.

473 ml can. Pours a bright hay color with full head. Aromas of grain, a bit of sulphur and noble hops. Flavors of dry cracker like malts, grass and more noble hops. Crisp. Good for what it is

473 ml can. Pours amber with light head. Aromas of pineapple, candied citrus, pine, and toasted malts. Flavors of pine, bitter citrus and toasted malts. Clean, but the flavors don’t live up to the promising aromas…

473ml can. Pours a clear orange gold with a small, foamy, short lived, off-white head that laces nicely. Mild aroma of grainy pale malt, orange and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy pale malt, mango, pineapple, orange and light piney hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Easy to drink, but could use more kick. More of an east coast meets west coast kind of IPA.

473ml can. Pours a crystal clear gold with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces nicely. Faint aroma of grainy pale malt, corn and grassy hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, corn, rice, a hint of lime and floral hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Clean, refreshing, thirst quenching and crushable. Would make a great beach beer.
