I have to admit I have never had a cask conditioned barleywine before. Dark almost red body with white head. Strong barley aroma. Malty taste, all over the tongue with something nutty. Long barley finish. Drink This.

Black body with thin tan head. Chocolate and malt aroma. Chocolate taste full with a malt around. Cask conditioned like a Machine House beer should be. Long full finish.

On Tap at the brewery/taproom Deep dark black. Light mocha colored head. Sharp clean dark roast malts and a light clean body. Nice.

Cask Clear body with white head. Hoppy and sweet citrus aroma, almost like an IPA. Balanced malt and hop body. Citrus and spice in the finish.

Medium brown body with off white head. Malt and bread aroma. Nut, walnut and something else and bread flavour. Long malty finish.

Quite hazy. Thin head. Light body, juicy gooseberry and biscuity malts. An odd mix of the classic ordinary bitter structure, and galaxy hops. Not bad.

Hazy light amber. Bubbly head. Fruity, berryish, honeyish floral hops. Taste is moderately bitter. Light gooseberry, black tea. OK.
