As Dargett Weizen at 5.0% ABV. Appearance: Cloudy deep gold with a tall off-white frothy head of good retention. Aroma and taste: Dried banana, other esters, bread, spicy notes, some old hop. Light sweet & bitter. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: No complaints.

As Dargett DIPA at 8.5% ABV. Appearance: Misted deep amber with a nice ivory-coloured head. Aroma and taste: Candied citrus fruits, pine & resin, esters, slightly toasted. A bit oxidized. Light to medium sweet, medium to heavy bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium plus body, average carbonation. Overall: An OK old-school DIPA.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, thin white head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of apple, caramel note. Taste is sweet, apple, caramel, mellow, some sugar, with light acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium sweet finish. Quite drinkable.

Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, roast, caramel, biscuit, brown sugar. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, lingering malty sweetbitter aftertaste, nice.

Some banana. Taste light to medium sweet and slightly bitter, wheat malt, bergamot, some banana, cloves, yeast, some medicinal notes. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, more bitterness in the finish, unusual weizen, okay.
