Bottle pour at Hop and Hound, as part of the series release party. Likely the first cider release I’ve ever attended, and probably one of the better ones I ever will. An offering of truly unique, and flavorful ciders. This one caught my attention right away with the pepper inclusion. My love of pepper beers, paired with the fact that Seattle Cider Three Pepper got me into cider in the first place, this was a no brainer. A golden orange pour with no head. A sweet candy orange aroma with a surprisingly spice lack. Just barely there I suppose, but really shines in the flavor. Sweet orange and pineapple, battled by spice, with spice being the last standing. Tasty cider here, and fits perfectly with my cider preferences. A standout. Delicious.

Apple and cherry. Dark sugars. Light tart. Sweet fruity finish. Full flavored. Very nice. Avoids the fake sweet or unnecessarily tart cider profile. Would drink again.

On tap at Ravenna, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of ginger upfront, with minimal apple skins. Flavour is less intense on the ginger, with medium sweet apples, apple skins and subtle ginger. Not complex by any means, but it works.

Draft at Gar Gernika. Looks, smells and tastes exactly like cranberry juice. On a hot day, this was extremely refreshing, normal tartness for a glass of cranberry juice.

On tap at Bailey's, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of bone dry green apples. Flavour is dry, with red apples and medium dry sweetness. Solidly made but not terribly exciting.
