32 oz crowler poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. Actually thought this was an IPA when I picked it up, but kinda glad I was wrong. I feel like this is a style that I never order these days, mostly because I almost never see it anymore. Not to mention this is anything but a boring wheat ale. Full of flavor, and really refreshing. Bright and clean golden appearance. Thin, patchy fizz head. Has hints of lime, lemon, citrus zest on the aroma and flavor. Enough lime to fit in nicely with any Mexican dish. Light feel, cool and easy drinking. A touch crisp. Has a lager feel to it, but I'm not sure if that's accurate. If it is, it is a flavorful lager. Overall, a unique brew here, and very enjoyable.

16 oz. Aroma is wet dish rag and biscuity initially, before notes of strawberry, guava and pineapple open up after warming up in the glass after a few minutes. Pours hazy sunshiney gold with a one finger off-white head that falls pretty quickly into a ring. Taste is bright and citrusy, modestly sweet with light bitterness. Pretty tasty overall.

500ml (thx, Monica M!) @ home. Appearance: dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: sweet, fudge, some bourbon notes. Taste: along the same lines, some dark fruits, fudge, whiskey, and barleywine notes. Overall: not bad.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. Awesome collab to run into here. Extreme haze, milky peach orange pour. Orange juice, and thick. Sticky lacing. Smooth taste. Fresh and grassy hops. This would be amazing in the summer. Reminds me of mowing outside, with the combination of grassy and pure refreshment. Very juicy. Ripe fruit reminder on aroma and flavor. Excellent fresh hop here.

A special beer for a special occasion. Enjoyed on draft at the Hop and Hound minutes after the doors opened and this delicious brew poured for the first time. 5 years already? Wouldn't miss celebrating here at my favorite local spot, with a collab of two new and really interesting breweries that I wish I could say I have been to. Speaking of 5, I might drink 5 of these today. A beautiful pour, bright golden pour, softer on the haze for this top of the keg pour. Tons of hop flavor, and a bit juicy. Quite the nice mix of juicy and grassy hops. A really refreshing IPA. Not a super thick IPA as far as a hazy goes. Bit of a hybrid, and I'm totally on board. Best thing about this beer, is the experience. Cheers to 5 years to Eric and the entire crew.

It has been a weekend full of enjoying this beer, pint by pint. A solid hazy pale. Smooth up front, an appropriate hop bitter aggressiveness. Moderate haze to this golden pour. I felt like after 4 pints I could rare this like an absolute champ, but I keep drinking them down without thinking about scribbling notes. The refreshment is there. The hoppiness is there. Overall a solid brew.

This might be the first non hop brew from these guys that I've had the pleasure of trying, and if they are anything like their fellow collaborators from other projects, this is going to kick some serious ass. First sip. This kicks some serious ass. Not to be confused with kicking regular ass. This is an incredible brew. A dark cola brown pour, a settling thin foam head. Aroma reveals the non secret that this is a big time barrel aged variety. Taste is whiskey from the very beginning, but not boozy. This is all flavor. And its smooth. Warming finish, cocoa, whiskey, and oak. A bit of a thinner body for the style. Not exactly the variety of impy stout that you can pick up with a fork. The toasty, whiskey combo is perfect. Stellar brew here. Bottle it someday? I'd love to enjoy this one again!

Varietal is providing me with a constant reminder that I really need to go and finally explore all the beer greatness that this fine state has to offer east of the mountains. Introduced to these guys through some fine collaborations, it's awesome to see them popping up in my local. Moderately cloudy, shiny golden pour, oily and active fizz head. A slighter, more classic indication with appearance, but a creamier, juicy IPA as a result. A touch of tropical fruit. Pairs nicely with a pils and cereal grain. Cracker and pils grain finish. A well put together IPA. Hops rule.
