Bottle [thanks ShivanDragon] @ home. Slightly unclear golden color, small quickly disappearing white head. Smell and taste wheat, sweetness, some yeast and unfortunately also the well known banana. Mostly banana candy sweetness in the aroma though, not as much in the flavor. Decent enough body and carbonation. Oh well, not too bad.

Bottle shared THT. Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, banana, light fruits, light citrus and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from bottle at THT Februari at "De Zuipschuit". Sweet malt, barley malt, light coriander, orangepeel, sugar. Some ripe banana in the distance. Moderate sweet and light bitter. Bottle at February THT thanks to Sinterklaas ShivanDragon. Almost clear light golden with short lasting white head. Some lemon, light dough, soft spices and dried herbs. Soft vanilla cake too. Finish is a bit grassy and has lemon peel and lemon balm. Under medium sweet, medium bitter and very light sour.

Herbal nose. Clear pale amber, tall soapy off-white head, good yet uneven retention, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malts, chicory, caramel, alcohol. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, caramel, retronasal chicory. Sweetbitter aftertaste, herbal notes, dry bitter finish, herbal notes, medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation, decent amber ale.

0.33 l bottle from ’Wijnkoperij Wielinga’, best before April 2017. Hazy, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, moderately yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of banana, clove and some citrus. Sweetish, moderately yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of banana, clove, some citrus and a touch of peach, followed by a short, quite yeasty-spicy, a little sourish finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carboantion. Nice Weizen, at least flawless and authentic unlike so many others.
