Opgericht in 2015 als Drachtsterbrouwers. In 2016 werd de naam gewijzigd in
Brouwerij Koningshert. Het Koningshert mag met recht het bier van Drachten genoemd worden. Er wordt gebrouwen met ambachtelijke precisie en vol trots voor medebewoners en toeristen. Kom naar Drachten en beleef het Koningshert!

Kleinere batches bier worden gebrouwen op de installatie van James' Brewery. Voor grotere batches werd tot eind 2023 gebruik gemaakt van de faciliteiten van Admiraals Bierbrouwerij. In 2024 zijn een aantal batches bier gebrouwen bij Het Brouwdok en Brouwerij Dockum. S

0.33 l bottle from ’Wijnkoperij Wielinga’, best before April 2017. Hazy, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, moderately yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of banana, clove and some citrus. Sweetish, moderately yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of banana, clove, some citrus and a touch of peach, followed by a short, quite yeasty-spicy, a little sourish finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carboantion. Nice Weizen, at least flawless and authentic unlike so many others.

Bottle kindly shared by Gurthnar, many thanks. Hazy yellow color with small white head. Aroma of banana, clove, wheat. Taste, wheat, banana, clove, yeast. Good.

Bottle from ShivanDragon as a part of Local Swap in 2016. Many thanks! Hazy golden colour. Quite aromatic, slightly perfumey, flowery. Lots of carbonation, also lots of bubblegum, banana, slightly less clove. Light to medium clean sourness spicing it up. Good one.

flesje meegebracht door Jeroen, bedankt ! schenkt helder amber/rood met volle fijne witte plakkerige kraag. Aroma van pilsmout, caramout, zoet, kruidig, caramel. Smaken zijn redelijk zoet, zacht/romig/glad, vol, suiker, redelijk gekruid, caramel, blijkbaar cichorijwortel maar deze is wel duidelijk merkbaar aanwezig en onder andere merkbaar in een lange bittere kruidige afdronk. matige body, lage co2, zoet-romige kruidig bier, niet geheel mijn ding dit. --- Beer merged from original tick of Koningshert Cicho Amber Ale on 18 May 2018 at 13:11 - Score: 6

iets wazig geel/gouden met prikkelende witte kraag. aroma van citrus, banaan, tarwe, fris, floraal, stro. Smaken redelijk zoet, vrij veel koolzuur, fris, licht bitter, licht zuur, fris, banaan, gist, mout, tarwe. matige body, zachte co2, prima zomerbiertje.
