At the Barrel Society 2018. Pours darkest brown. Aroma is booze, barrel, strong dark dried fruit, prunes, slightly burnt. Body is heavy and strong, really boozy and sweet, also quite sour, and explosion of impressions. Still prunes, marmalade, schnaps. Warming sour palate. Wow, what a punch!

At the Barrel Society 2018. Pours hazy yellow. Aroma is lactic funk, grassy and citric hops. Body is light, quite bitter but not lacking body. A bit soapy, perfume, but not disturbing. Little pellet flavours toward the palate. Good.

Bottle, many thanks anstei! Hazy pale yellow color with white head. Aroma is wheat, yoghurt, grassy, nice earthy funk. Taste is earthy, rustic, yoghurt, leafy, citric hops. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Excellent Table beer, though quite lactic in character.

Bottle. Deep copper color with soapy head. Aroma is raisins, coffee, vanilla. Taste is raisins, coffee, vanilla, slightly watery. Oily mouthfeel, natural. Very nice, but somehow HTRJülich managed better without the eisbocking.

Bottle, courtesy of Pascal, thanks! A suuuuuper strong beer, all ice bocking, barley wine and rum barrel are there. Super strong, yet still lacking body somehow. Just booze, to the point where it burns. Some coffee, toffee, vanilla. A good experiment, but there are better super high ABV beers.

Bottle. Pours unclear yellow. Aroma is stables, wild yeast, and then... fecal funk? Good though. Body is medium, weirdly metallic fruity, earthy, lively carbonation, well balanced and enjoyable. Dryish palate. Clearly of a higher ABV, but it works super well. Highly recommendable.

02.08.2018 -- on tap at bierrevier in basel, 8 fr/.33l. pours a hazy pale golden with a small head. aroma of funk, citrus, quite sour. flavour of fresh lemon juice, funk, a hint of peaches, scrambled eggs. nice and dry, not much tea though.

Bottle from the Blackwell web shop. Pours cloudy yellow. Aroma is green tea, herbs, some candy. Body is light, super bready, a bit thin again, black tea and bergamotte indeed, with a rather dominant carbonation considering the low flavours. Good.

Bottle from the Blackwell web shop. Pours pale cloudy yellow. Aroma is phenolic, farmhouse, herbs, lightly citric. Body is light, a bit thin, bready, but very refreshing and quaffable. A bit like a forest in a sandwich. Good.

Bottle from the Blackwell web shop. Pours cloudy amber, yet not super saturated in color. Aroma is raspberry, funk, yoghurt. Body is light, berries, more yoghurt, low carbonation, softly sour and tart. Astringent palate, still sour. Good!
