Aroma of citrus, peach, grass, lemon peel, some grapefruit. Flavour is fruity and hoppy with a bitter finish. Matuška strikes again.

Tap at Automat Matuska. Med-thin body, med-high carbo. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Restrained light beech smoke, lack thereof. Mostly clean, a pretty nice lager with a bit of smoke. But it is nice golden colour, not polotmavy at all, and also one expects more smoke from a beer called not only jitrnice, but also nauzena. Weird take this beer is. Good, but not great.

Tap at Colmore, Birmingham. Clear gold with nice creamy white head. Quite grassy with grapefruit, light spice, some zest. Big bitter bite to this one. Medium bodied with soft fine carbonation. Enjoyable. I like Czech pale ales as some seem to have one foot in their lager tradition to create something approaching an IPL but with that extra quality.

Tap at Automat. Medium body, med-high carbonation. Med-med-high bitterness, feels kinda restrained initially, then finishes with a bit more zesty pithy citruses. Light caramelly maltiness, rather light hops character, general citrusy, orangey, zesty character. 9verall good but not great.

Tap at Pivní Přístav. Murky orange body, thick off-white head. Sweet citrusy aroma, bit spicy-herbal. Creamy taste, ending dry. Sweet tropical notes and some herbs, bit full but, to be fair, it works.
