On tap at Twin Sisters, pours a fairly clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is fairly potent, with cantaloupe, alcohol, candied sugar, caramel, and tropical fruity hops. Flavour is boozy and sweet, with a rather chaotic profile of cantaloupe, alcohol, tropical fruits, sugar, and resinous hops. This attempt exemplifies why triple IPAs are so hard to craft - this is lacking cohesion in every respect, and comes across as a boozy sweet mess. Take this back to the drawing board.

On tap at Twin Sisters, pours black with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roast and some earthy notes underneath. Flavour is more multi-dimensional: there's the robust roasted malt base, tempered a hit by some red fruits, and hop balance. Nicely balanced, with a sturdy mouthfeel. Good stuff.

On tap at Twin Sisters, pours a fairly clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle piney hops, an earthy character, and soft bready malt. Flavour is fairly restrained on the hop character, though there is noticeable bitterness — there's a trace of diacetyl in there — crisp dry finish. This leaves something to be desired.

On tap at Twin Sisters, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out candied sugar, some fruity esters, Belgian yeast, and light cotton candy. Flavour is moderately estery, with Belgian yeast, alcohol, estery notes, and candied sugar. A little rough and boozy, but that tempers some of the excessive esters. Decent attempt.

On tap at Twin Sisters, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of dank hops, some pot oils, and bready malt. Flavour is quite dank, with lots of pot-like resinous hop oils, some pine, and bready malt. Nicely constructed, with an oily palate and a dank finish. Solid.

On tap at Twin Sisters, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh grassy hops, some herbal notes, light spiciness, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is grassy, with a nice biting hop character, prominent spiciness from the Saaz, and a crisp crackery malt base. Nicely constructed, with ample hops to please the palate. Good stuff.

On tap at Twin Sisters, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out whiskey barrels upfront, followed by lots of roast, and the hops just squeaking through. Flavour is heavy on the whiskey barrel upfront, with medium roast, lots of whiskey, and subdued hops. Lots of whiskey here that is very pleasant. Really good.

On tap at Twin Sisters, pours black with a voluminous tan head - poured a bit temperamentally. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt upfront, a punch of rather abrasive hops, and cocoa. Flavour is really intense, with lots of roasted malt, bitter cocoa, harsh hops, and charcoal. This is brutal - not cohesive and somewhat difficult to drink.

On nitro tap at Twin Sisters, pours a hazy dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out oats upfront, with cocoa and some metallic notes. Flavour is rather bitter and metallic, with chalk and dusty cocoa. This isn't too invigorating.
