Description
Focused on the Craft
Ruse Brewing is an artisanal brewery inspired by Portland's creative community & culture. These attributes are what inspire us to create our art: craft beer.
We brew small batch, flavorful, and thoughtfully-crafted beers. We work with local artists and musicians to design beers paired with their art for concept events and beer releases. Our community is a major inspiration for our company vision, we will do what it takes to be involved and support other businesses and organizations.

On tap at Ruse, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is more laid-back than expected, with plenty of soft, somewhat dusty, floral and earthy hops. Flavour is more assertive, with citrusy hops, light pine, some hop tang, and a mineraly mouthfeel. Thin malt base to back. Very good.

On tap at Ruse, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, light dankness, citrus, and biscuity malt. Flavour is bright and assertive, with lots of melony hops, light dankness, a touch of pine, light seltzery notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Good hop blend, well-balanced, and bright. Excellent.

On tap at Ruse, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is mega-dank, with lots of pot-like hops, some tangy white wine-like notes, and a little pine. Flavour is vibrant, with intense dank hops, lots of white wine-like character, melon, and a crisp biscuity malt base. Mega-dank hop expression, mostly from the Mosaic I assume, with the Nelson just contributing a bit of hop tang. Excellent.

On tap at Ruse, pours a clear dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma reveals toasted bready malt and a touch of nutty earthiness. Flavour is dry, with bready malt, very gentle sweetness, and some nuttiness. Finishes fairly dry, with reasonable malt depth. Solid brown.
