0.33 l bottle from 'EDEKA Knudtsen' (Wyk auf Föhr), best before October 2023. A bit hazy, pale orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, minimally sourish, gently fruity aroma of lemon juice, some grains and a touch of lemonade. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, a bit sourish, quite fruity taste of lemon juice, some grains and light lemonade, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little tart finish. Thin to medium body, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very decent Radler, way better than most macro examples.

Veltins V+ Energy (Alc. 5,0 % vol), mit dem extra Schuss Guarana, Dose von Edeka, Berlin. - Blaßgelb, blank: sieht fast aus wie Bier. - In der Nase eine interessante, kaffeefruchtig-herbe Note, die leider von fett limonadiger Süße erschlagen wird. - Antrunk kaum bierähnlich, dominiert von widerwärtig zuckriger Süße, während die limonadig-fruchtige Note arg künstlich schmeckt und kaum noch Herbe hat. Selbst im Nachtrunk herrscht klebrige Süße; und noch aus dem Ausguß, in dem der größere Teil der Brühe alsbald verschwand, stinkt es mir böse entgegen. - Gräßliches Zeug, völlig ungenießbar. Es können kaum die lächerlichen 0,02 % Guarana-Extrakt sein, die das Gesöff so abscheulich machen, wohl eher das Pfund Zucker auf den halben Liter. (21.6.2023.)

Servida en jarra, color amarillo claro y turbio, espuma blanca de mediana retención. Aroma a cereal, heno, pan, pera, lúpulo... En boca suave, muy refrescante, trago largo y sabroso, agradable fácil de beber, notas de malta, citricos, panaderia...Una helles para mi gusto digna de repetir, muy rica.

0.5 l can from local 'Getränke Hoffmann', best before February 2024. Clear, ruby with a medium large, dense, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish, rather fruity, a little sourish and a bit artificial aroma of cassis, elderberry and sherbet powder. Very sweet, minimally sourish, rather fruity and a bit artificial taste of cassis, elderberry, sherbet powder and hints of gummy bear, followed by a short, minimally bitter, hardly bitter finish. Thin to medium body, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not overly enjoyable, way too sweet and candy-like, still drinkable.

Bottle from el corte ingles, palma mallorca. Hazy yellow, beige head. mild aroma, faint lager like aroma, also yeasty notes like a wheat beer but no banana or citrus. faint aroma. Flavor is medium intense, yeasty notes, faint fruity notes, not sure what fruits, faint sweet malty notes. everything adds up together and gives me an impression that mostly resemble hefeweizen but with much less banana up front. Is still sweet from the malts. Clearly drinkable, but hard to categorize for me.

0.5 l can from local 'Trink & Spare', best before May 2024. Clear, pale golden with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Intensely sweetish, fruity, quite artificial, a little sourish aroma of apple rings and hints of lemonade. Quite sweet, minimally sourish, rather fruity but also quite artificial taste of apple rings, some lemonade and hints of grains, followed by a short, gently bitter, minimally tart finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Intense aroma of ripe apples? Not really. Fortunately it's just a limited edition.

Blik in Duitsland gekocht, thuis geprobeerd. Het is een robijnrood bier en wijn volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van Cassis. De is vol fruitig en licht hoppig in de afdronk.

Servida en jarra, color ámbar dorado, algo turbia, espuma abundante y poco compacta, de escasa retención. Aroma a malta, caramelo y algo de cereal y panaderÃa. Textura sedosa, cuerpo medio, suave, sabor muy parecido al aroma, maltosa en boca, notas de pan, miel, caramelo y nueces, amargor medio, perfil bastante discreto, se disfruta en trago largo, refrescante. La imagino acompañando un buen guiso de carne o alguna comilona abundante, hogareña y casera.
