Refrigerated 16oz. Aluminum can poured into a glass. Hazy golden with medium bright white head. Aroma is nice herbal hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and pretty good lacing. Taste is herbal hops, juicy citrus hops, and nice bitter finish. Really this is the only IPL that I would have again.

Fresh 16 oz. can. Hazy appearance as expected. Aroma is earthy pine, floral, weak malts. This is not tropical like they claim it is. The bitterness comes off as earthy and astringent. Almost harsh bitterness. After half the can I am still looking for the fruit. Does not get better as it warms. "The Juice" is a much better IPA.

330ml bottle provided by djoeye. Deep nut brown body, low beige head, dotted spots on the glassware. Moderate brown malty nose, dry. Taste of nuts, caramel and earth. Mid-dry malt-driven endnotes. Easy to drink. Fair enough. (Backlog, Tromsø 02.08.2017).

Taster pour at Powder Keg Beer and Chili Festival. Appearance is hazy, pale yellow without sparkle, 2-finger width foamy white head (though was end of keg). Aroma is citrus, resin, rye? Taste is dominant bittersweet grapefruit, bitter earthy resin. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with soft carbonation and bitter, grapefruit dominant finish. Overall, tasty but pretty one dimensional.

Draft at Harbor Bar. Orange color with a nice, frothy head and coating lace. Mixes the ginger with the yeast, sweetness, and other spices nicely. Pretty good. Avoids the ginger over power.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is hazy yellow-orange with sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is citrus, pine and light tropical fruit. Taste is sweet citrus and subtler tropical fruit balanced with bitter pine. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with foamy texture, lively carbonation and more bitter than sweet, dry finish. Overall, a light aroma but decent amount of flavor for a session.

Maybe it's me, but this tasted like tart water. I have a cold, but really, I couldn't smell or taste anything. Although I guess I also didn't smell or taste anything bad, so it could have been worse.
