On tap at Standard, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out citrus hops, with some tangy champagne character, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with light champagne, citrus hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Just a subtle champagne character here, but it works nicely. Very good.

Batch 1. Bottle, purchased at the brewery. Hazy, amber, just a thin head. There's a light cherry note, along with bitterness from pits, and a soft acidity, a fair bit of residual malts. Not bad - I suspect if more sweet cherry came out I'd like it better, but also more fruit complexity.

Tasting at Matt's
Cloudy red-purple aroma. Nice aroma, sour berries and a bit of funk. The body isn't weak, but the mouthfeel is dry; there is a lot of berry juice, but the lack of sweetness doesn't work with berries, and it has a lot of vegetable bitterness.
Messy. Not very pleasant.

Bottle - Nice dakprk berry sour notes. Cloudy purple red with a decent white head. Soured fruit that mellows quite quickly. More juice than lambic.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark murky reddish brown with a small off-white head. Nose brings out lots of pithy blackberries upfront, with dirty yeast, and a hint of funk. Flavour is along the same lines, with pithy blackberries and lots of dirty yeast. Pithy and dirty. Not particularly sophisticated, but it's pleasant.
