Pale greenish yellow with a small white head. The aroma has sulphur - strong DMS here - malt, grass, green peppers and a hint of citrus. Dry and grainy, grassy flavour with a touch of biscuit-y malt in the finish.

Very dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of coconut and chocolate. I know it’s made from real ingredients, but it just reminds me too much of bounty bar to be pleasant. Sweet roasted malt and chocolate flavour with some coconut - better than the aroma. Lingering chocolate finish. Kudos for producing the coconut aroma, but it’s not really my thing.

Can, 6.2%. OK caramelly hop aroma. Hazy orange colour. Small white head. The flavour is also caramelly, a bit rough, but with a clean bitterness.

Can 35,5 cl. Courtesy of MaltOMeal. Hazy golden with a dense off-white head. Fresh aroma of citrus and pine. Medium body with a solid and lightly sweet malt base - some caramel. Fresh and peachy hop accents dominate without making it particularly bitter. 210309

12 fl oz can. Pours hazy orange with a thick and white head. Dry, peachy and grapefruity hops aroma. Dry peachy and grapefruity flavoured with a nice bitterness coming through. Citric and dry bitter finish. Lingering peachy and grapefruity impression into the far finish.

12 oz can a present from Odeed! Nose of grassy hops and grain with the hoppiness predominating. Lightly hazy urine yellow with a big yellow tinged head thats hangs around quite a while. Flavor is slightly sweet with some white pepperiness, a hint of background bitterness and a grainy pastiness. Finish is light white pepperiness and after a few seconds background bitterness. One of the better lagers I’ve had.

Can at home... Thanks to Secret Santa 2008 for this one ... amber big bubbly white head ... big toffee pine hop nose ... light fruity bitterness ... big pine sweet resins ... juicy with a little lime ... Really good drinking... rich mouthfeel ... OPPS ... a rerate ... i was meant to keep this to share... still its lovely im enjoying it ... so who am i to complain.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color porter with a rather large medium brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted coconut is clearly noticeable with some roasted malt notes. Taste is a nice mix between some fresh roasted coconut and some dry roasted malt. Bitterness is well controlled and coconut is well balance and more then a novelty. Body is a bit thin for the style but carbonation is pretty good. I could see this going well with some coconut chocolate cake.

Can: Poured a bright orangey color ale with a rather large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and grapefruit hops seems very fresh with a subtle caramel malt base. Taste is also dominated by some green citrus and grapefruit hops with a subtle malt base sustaining quite well the hops profile. Full body with good carbonation. Better then expected and very well done for a West Coast IPA.

12 oz can purchased at the Rodeo General Store in Makawao. Canned 052312 (thank you Maui for clearly dating your beers). Woah, drinking this 5 days after it was canned. The pour is light haze golden. The aroma is fresh resin, dank and catty. Really clean and alive. The taste is fresh bright resin dank hops, along with nice clean fresh toasted malt under the hop brightness. The palate is medium to light bodied, with nice gentle natural carbonation. This was super fresh and nice, I was very happy to have it available pretty much everywhere I went on Maui. (8,4,8,4,17 - 4.1)

12 oz can from MaltOMeal. Pour is cloudy copper orange with a rocky one inch white head. Some floaties, pleasingly unfiltered looking. Aroma of round soft, citrus and resin hops. Some bready maltiness behind that. Taste is the citrus hops, nicely bitter - resin is present though more subdued than in the nose, and towards the back. Malt picks up midway, giving it a nice body and balance. Palate is medium, unfiltered, bitter with a nice hoppy lingering aftertaste. Nice IPA. Thanks Bill. (8,4,7,3,15 - 3.7)
