Sampled @ Cider Cider during BAF 2014. Thanks for the server for the free sample. Golden, little head. Lots of sweet pear, sugary & hay in the nose. Fizzy pear, lemon, sugar, lots of hay, light lemon. Delicious.

Thanks to the guy at the stand. Small bottle sample @ BAF 2014. Hazy golden, some bubbles. Quite floral nose, rustic, barn, faint mineral. Dry, very rustic, floral, barn, almost herbal apple taste. Lively carbonation. Good stuff.

Bottle from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is fruity apple. Fruit beyond apple. Hints of spice. Marvelous aroma. Med body, almost. Flavor is ages appleskin, with lightly spicey notes. Finishes towards dry with a little spicy sugar. Delicate. Tasty. Stands up to Normandy ciders.

Bottle, 75cl. A clear, golden beer topped by some off-white bubbles around the rim. The aroma is rather sweetish, with apple marmalade and a touch of grapes. It’s grassy and lightly grape-ish, green grapes that is, in the flavor, with sweet apples and some apple marmalade. Medium body, with a nice carbonation. Lasting sweet apple finish. Perhaps not the most refreshing cider I’ve had, but it’s sure tasteful and easy drinkable. 140830
