Draft at Mad Swede. Bright holden pour with a small, tight white head. Malty, grainy aroma. Taste brings a nice hoppy bitterness, more malts underneath. Solid and right on target.

12 ounce can thanks to Santa. Pours a very dark color, pitch black almost, a large beige head. A nice roast, metallic and dark chocolate nose. Sweeter flavors, milk chocolate, vanilla, but a big roast there, dry and metallic which I love. Solid Porter.

12oz can pours out dark brown almost black topped with a small tan head. Nose is nice roast malts chocolate and some nutty notes. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate roast malts and a touch of coffee on the end.

On Tap at the Boise brewery/taproom slightly foggy deep orange light amber thick dense long lasting creamy off white head. Creamy mild malt body and feel, modest pepper hotness and a smooth finish. The spiciness is mellow and not overdone Quite nice

On Tap at the brewery/taproom Deep dark brown with dark red edges and highlights. Medium dark roast aromas and flavors. Medium light body and quite a bit of dark roast on the trailer. Robust maybe.. but not a big beer.

Draft at MS taproom. Rich, dark brown, skin of tan head, streaky lacing. Aroma fills the nose with roadt malts and light chocolate elements. Taste starts and ends with roasty bitterness. Hint of sweetness. Oatmeal gives this a nice silky feel
