Draft at MS taproom. Medium gold, haxy, small silky head, solid lacing. Looks beautiful. Aroma is sweet, malty, grassy. Taste is fruity, grainy, full. Presents itself like the mash stage of brewing. Full, bready. Wonderful stuff.

Draft at brewery. Pale golden, small foamy head. Malty, bready aroma. Taste is also kind of malt forward, but also offers some nice hoppy bitterness at the finish.

On Tap at the Boise brewery/taproom Black pour, tan beige head. Fine and lasting. Mild smooth dark roastiness. Modest bourbon character. Some residual sweetness and some sharp soot/campfire, A touch of licorice as well.

On Tap at the Cole taproom Deep dark amber with a light tan head. Lovely caramel and toasted malts. Some brown sugar and a little bourbon booziness. Nice mod of an already good beer.

On tap at the brewery pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice crisp spice some soap and a bread note. Taste is more of the nice sweet spice corn husks and a little earthy tones.

Taster flight at brewery. Dark brown, with very little head. Aroma is roasty malts. Taste continues with light, roasty malts,. Body seems a bit hin.

On tap at the brewery pours out a dark brown topped with a sand head. Nose is nice bourbon barrel notes booze rich caramel and some pit fruit. Taste is more of the nice sweet pit fruit spice and a nice bourbon barrel vanilla.

Taster flight at brewery. Dark black pour, small ring of beige head. Aroma is a big hit of bourbon, boozy. Taste tones down the whiskey a bit to offer coffee bitterness and dark chocolate.
