On tap at bittercreek boise. Pours out a pale golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice herbal notes sage spice and some bread. Taste is more of the sage spice herbal.

Draft at BitterCreek. Pale golden, small skin of head.Nice sage, savory aroma. Taste too is peppery and spicy, the Saison base carries the sage wonderfully.

Draft at the brewery. Deep golden, hazy, small head, curtains of lacing. Aroma is mostly malts, rye bread. Taste is still fairly malty, light hoppy notes on the back end. Nice malty character throughout. Bread, dry.

On tap at prefunk Boise. Pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is coconut tropical fruit hops some sweetness. Taste is more of the nice light tropical fruit hops some sweetness and the coconut on the end.

Draft at Mad Swede. Labeled a CDA, one of my favorite styles. Dark brown, near black pour with a finger of thick brown head. Hoppy aroma, lots of pine and a robust roastiness. Deep roast flavors, a small amount of citrus sweetness, and an aggressive piney bitterness. Drinks really well. I had really looked forward to trying this as soon as I heard they were brewing it... definitely it did not dissapoint. Easily the best of their brews I’ve had thus far.

Draft at Mad Swede. Dark brown color with a thick creamy finger of tan head. Mild aroma, a little roast and a little cocoa. At first sip I thought this was too sweet, but the further I drank it mellowed into more of a roasty, bittersweet cocoa flavor. Nice hoppy element.

On Tap at the brewery. Black with a sturdy tan head. Big piney hop aromas and flavors. Bold sharp roast character with a little sweetness. Bold and nicely balanced. Very good aggressive CDA Their best beer, I think

On tap at alefort. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is pine some light citrus and roast malts. Taste is more of the pine hops light citrus notes and a roast.
