Description
Founded in 2012, Cloud 9 Brewery is a nanopub concept featuring locally sourced and organic components in both the brewery and restaurant.
With an emphasis on creative brewing, Cloud 9 is situated in a unique place in the market. Instead of having the exact same line-up from month to month, the beers on-tap at Cloud 9 change as soon as the last drop from the previous batch has been poured. With so many taps, and only 6 year-round beers, the variety is truly amazing.
Cloud 9 also features a unique feedback process by which we judge what beer-drinkers actually think. We collate and analyze the input and use that to shape the direction of the next batch. In this way the community is involved in the brewing process from concept to the final foamy pint.
A commitment to quality, service and genuine interest in our community make Cloud 9 Brewery the place for beer aficionados, foodies, and everyone who enjoys fresh and unique culinary creations.

Draft at Cloud 9. Bright, clear golden, thin foamy, white head. Citrusy, orange aroma. Taste adds the saison yeast to the Citra flavors making for an interesting, and refreshing, brew. The combination almost passes for cucumber (?). It is super refreshing in this 100° heat.

Draft at Cloud 9. Hazy amber with a soft, bubbly off-white head. Light citrus aromas in the nose, caramel. Taste seems evenly split between sweet, toasty malts and citrusy, fruity hops. I guess this would fall into that hazy NW style that seems to be cropping up.

Draft at Cloud 9. Dark, slightly cloudy amber, wispy tan head. Malty, nutty aroma. Taste adds some leathery, tobacco notes to the nutty malt backbone. Clean and simple.

Draft at brewery. Hazy amber pour, light soapy head. Aroma is malty, brown bread flavors. Tastes like a hoppy version of their festbier. Lightly hopped, so taste is still malty. Underwhelming.
