500 ml bottle. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of chocolate, rum and slick roasted malts. Flavors of flavors follow same with additional vanilla and soy sauce. Really nice balance for a rum barrel and good flavor for a relatively low ABV BA beer these days.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy dull pinkish red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out tart cherries, some marzipan, and a touch of wild yeast. Flavour is loaded with pungent tart cherries, followed immediately by wild yeast, and a touch of wood. Nice use of wild yeast and incorporation of cherries. Nothing overly complex, but it's very nice.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 30/03/2021). Semi clear amber orange with off white head. Light caramel malt with orange peel and earthy hops. A little lacklustre.

473mL can, pours a dark Cherry reddish brown with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart jammy cherries and some yogurty notes. Flavour is tart and jammy, with cherry pits, and lacto. Not much depth but it's pleasant enough.

Cloudy blond colour. Some aroma of coriander and bubblegum. Sweetish, the yeast has a vegetable character, more than spice, and there is some bubblegum, light fruity esters. Rough and not so pleasant.

Hazy golden colour. It's quite malty, sweet, not too thick, and without caramel thankfully; some orange marmalade, bitter citrus, can do sugar, bit of vegetable bitterness. Not old style, not modern. Not one to remember, but drinkable.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy pale blond colour. Dry and crisp base, delicate crackery malt; nice grassy and citrusy hopping, with bold bitterness; it's similar to the pilsner, just a slightly different malt profile and a more modern hop profile. Refreshing find, miles away from the Hazy ISA nonsense so common these days. Very good.

2021-04-23, can from The Gull, North Vancouver, 6-3-7-3-13=32
Pale blond, clean. It's still an ok beer, but the grassy hop character is now very mild (Aroma and Flavour 6.5).

The grassy hops seem to prevail over the delicate crispy malt.

Pale blond colour, hazy. Mild aroma of malt and heather honey. Soft mouthfeel, not too dry, very good malt flavour, crackers, wheat bread, and grassy hop. Bold bitterness.
Memories of Baden-Wüttenberg beers, very good.

Black colour with compact brown head. Aroma of burnt bread. Weak body, dry mouthfeel; flavour of burnt bread, rye and a hint of vanilla, with some malt sourness. It's ok.

Black colour with thick brown nitro head. The aroma is milder than the vanilla version, some roasted malt. The flavour is muted too (fuck nitro), some roasted malt, possibly coffee; smooth, but less so than other nitro Stouts. It's ok.
