On tap at the brewery. Clear pale amber under a small white head. Some sparse lace lingers. Nose has bread, yeast and pepper with some light grass. Flavour follows with light caramel sweetness with a balanced bitterness and some spice. Mouth is medium- with active carbonation. 7/3/6/3+/13

On tap at the brewery. Slightly hazy pale amber under a small lingering off white head that leaves some lace. Nose is light caramel with light citrus and tropical fruit. Light sweet malts with a light+ bitterness. Mouth is slightly thin with average carbonation and a light lingering bitter finish. Was expecting some more pronounced hop character from a West Coast pale ale. 6/3/6/3/12

Draught at Bomber, Vancouver; 5.5% ABV
Black color. Notes of coffee and cardboard, the low carbonation helps, fire wood, not too ashy, and with notes of dark chocolate in the final.
Nice.

On tap at Bomber, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of oats, roasted barley and dry cocoa. Flavour is very dry, with lots of roasted barley upfront, followed by dry cocoa and some oats. Medium-bodied, hearty and well-balanced. Very nice stuff.

On tap at Bomber, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out tons of diacetyl, along with caramel malt sweetness and resinous hops. Flavour is ruined by diacetyl, with spicy hops in back, low malt profile. Unfortunately the butter ruins this. Cannot drink this (guess I should wait a year before rating this young brewery though, right?). No good.

Cloudy, tan, thin head. Aroma is papaya, lemon, grapefruit...nice hop character, moderate bitterness, nice well drinking IPA. The malts aren’t great - a touch husky, but a minor complaint, really.

Pale, hazy, light hop fruitiness. Hasn’t got a ton of malt, and the hop has a bit of that overripe fruit character. But ok, good but could be better.

Slight haze, light amber, sweet, sticky, nice grapefruit, so it ends up a bit chewy, but not too much. Too alcoholic in the finish.

Amber-brown. Thin head. Aroma has some caramel toffee sweetness. Similar palate. Has nice residual sweetness, with a decent nuttiness.
