22 oz bottle poured. Picked this bottle up at Dystopian State during my last visit/crawl of Tacoma. Going back again this weekend, I thought this was a good time to open this up and enjoy it. A darker copper pour with a lasting foam head. The first imperial wheat beer I’ve seen that wasn’t labeled as a wheat wine. Fun to continue to play the style game. Soft floral and citrus paired aroma. Little honey indicators. Flavor is much of the same, but a little more honey sweetness. Obvious wheat like grains in there. Kinda makes this taste like Honey Nut Cheerios. Looking at it that way, this is a fun, tasty beer. Not that it wasn’t anyway. Smooth flavor. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle - Sweet caramel and malty notes. Clearish copper with a small white head. Bitter, cardboard and lots of caramel.

Quite cloudy, light brown. Thin head. Super chewy aroma - all kinds of crystal malt, alcohol and cheesy hops. Just everything you don’t want in an IIPA. Bitter, but with a lot of sweetness. No real hop brightness, just a touch of stale hops. No positive traits here.

650ml bottle at Brian’s office. Pours a hazy golde with a white head. Aroma is candied tropical fruits. Taste is very bitter, quite sweet, with candied fruits notes. Quite good.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is cloyingly sweet, with lots of caramel malt, medicinal sweet syrup, and light resinous hops. Flavour is sweet, yeasty and earthy, with lots of cloyingly sweet caramel malt, some medicinal syrupy qualities, and bitter resinous hops. Over-malted and lacking balance. Cloyingly sweet, with a syrupy finish. This isn't good.

Draft pour at Dystopian State, Tacoma. Copper amber pour with a film head and lacing. Smooth bourbon nose here. Flavor is a slightly roasted malt constant, spicy rye, and hints of bourbon. Not much hop impression overall for me. Linking rye spice, and soft bourbon notes. Flavorful, and quite tasty. Enjoyed this.

Draft pour at Dystopian State, Tacoma. A slightly cloudy golden copper pour with a thin, but lasting foam head and lacing. Sweet malt, pineapple like aroma. Flavor is bold and sweet malts, strong impression with a warming finish. Mixed tropical fruit notes in there. Tasty imperial overall.
