At Ancestry Brewing, we are building a lineage of family crafted ales, one brew at a time. We pride ourselves on paying attention to detail and quality. The first Ancestry location was opened in 2016 in Tualatin, OR with a taproom and . For a small brewery, we have a beautiful selection of hops that include Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, El Dorado, EKG, Simcoe, and Amarillo to name a few. These fantastic hops will find their homes in our primary "3 Pillars" of beer - American, English, and Belgian. Each of these categories will be complimented by our cask and barrel program that we plan to grow over time.
You can find our beers on tap in one of our three locations, at many grocery stores, your favorite restaurant or taproom. We bottle our most popular flagship beers like Best Coast IPA and Irish Red and recently started canning Ancestry IPA in 12oz cans and a 16oz Hazy Rotator (Aussie Hazy IPA, Glori Haze IPA and Experimental IPA #6). On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear golden yellow color with a medium white head. A big husky sweaty nose. The core flavor is more husky grainy notes, earthy, citrus, yeasty base. Solid. Smooth.
On tap at Loyal Legion Portland. Pours out a copper topped with a small head. Nose is light tropical fruit hops some citrus and a light malty note. Taste is more of fruit hops and light cereal malt
On tap at Loyal Legion. Pours a clear copper orange hue with a large white head. A nice fresh tropical citrus nose. The flavor is resin, sweet oranges and mango, light but flavorful. A light biscuit base. Good IPA! Can’t wait to try more from these guys.
