Description
At Ancestry Brewing, we are building a lineage of family crafted ales, one brew at a time. We pride ourselves on paying attention to detail and quality. The first Ancestry location was opened in 2016 in Tualatin, OR with a taproom and . For a small brewery, we have a beautiful selection of hops that include Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, El Dorado, EKG, Simcoe, and Amarillo to name a few. These fantastic hops will find their homes in our primary "3 Pillars" of beer - American, English, and Belgian. Each of these categories will be complimented by our cask and barrel program that we plan to grow over time.
You can find our beers on tap in one of our three locations, at many grocery stores, your favorite restaurant or taproom. We bottle our most popular flagship beers like Best Coast IPA and Irish Red and recently started canning Ancestry IPA in 12oz cans and a 16oz Hazy Rotator (Aussie Hazy IPA, Glori Haze IPA and Experimental IPA #6). We invite you to come see our brewery in Tualatin and get a pour straight from our Zwickels. We pride ourselves on connecting with our customers better than any brewery out there! We now have a Mug Club!!! Signing up get early access to news and beer releases. We are excited for you to join the family!

Lovely beer. Pours a pitch black hue with a medium tan head. A big roasty smoky nose. Huge sweet malts, roast, licorice, dark caramel. Blends in quite nicely. Would be nice to see a barrel aged version of this.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown color with a medium off-white head. A big coffee and fruity nose. Odd at first, the coffee is big, fruity citrus mixed in, cocoa, it grew on me though. Sweet. Solid brew.

500mL bottle, pours an opaque peachy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out peachy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out powdery floral hops, dry stone fruit hops, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour brings out floral, citrus hops, bitter hop powder, and dry biscuity malt. Dry, floral and pleasantly bitter. Very good.

Cloudy, tan. Not much head. There's a fairly bright orangey, lupulin powder nose. On the palate, yeasty with a bit of creaminess. There is a bright orange note, decent bitterness. Has a touch of grapefruit pith, and there's a lot of bright fruitiness as well. Decent, pretty balanced, but just a hint of alcohol late.

500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a small white head. A big juicy fruity nose. Orange pulp, toast, lemon, the sort of round juicy core of a E Coast IPA. Pretty solid. For juiceheads this is a good one.
