(Sample from 330ml bottle from SB) Pours black with small white ring of bubbles. Aroma strong coconut, toast, cinnamon hearts, caramel, some dark chocolate. Palate has toasted coconut, light cinnamon, dark chocolate, lightly sweetened, cocoa powder, toasted grain. Finish semi-sweet and moderately roasty, some umami, more coconut, hints of cinnamon. Medium bodied, touch oily, soft carb. At this point the coconut is just overbearing, I like the flavour but it’s swamping the cinnamon addition and the malts. Maybe cellaring will knit it together, otherwise it might need adjunct ratio changes.

Flaska från SB. Opak närmast svart, stor skum som snart lagt sig utan att lämna spår. Söt doft av mörkt socker, fudge, och mörk choklad. Ganska vass och lite kärv munkänsla. Söt smak med muscovad, fudge, lakrits. Tydlig kärv beska. Lite astringent smakbild (sötbeskt) och vass munkänsla. Trots det en hel del kvalitéer. Ok.

Tap at TCBW2016. Opaque black color, small brownish head. Very strong coconut aroma, some toasted notes. Full-bodied. Taste has also coconut. Then cocoa, toasted notes. Coconut overdose but good. Like eating Bounty bar.

Draught @ TCBW 2016. Pours pitch black with a smooth brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, coconut, licorice and dark chocolate. Taste is smooth, heavy and roasty with some licorice, dark chocolate and coconuts. Finish is smooth, sweetish and slightly roasty with some licorice, coffee and coconuts. Okay.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in March 2016. Golden with a small white head. Sweet with yeast, light banana, some hints of earth, bread and malt. Medium body and with a lively carbonation.
