On tap at BC Cider Fest 2023, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is full of crisp cucumber skins, light mint, no honey. Flavour is medium sweet, with crisp cucumber skins, some mint, and a touch of honey. Hard to consider this a mead — it's a fizzy pop / hard seltzer and not a great one at that. I mean, it's crisp and bright. So it's fine I guess.

Poured from the tap @ VCBW. Cloudy blonde with small white head. Feint sasparilla, cooler quality. Unremarkable.

Poured from the tap @ VCBW. Clear-ish pink with almost no white head. Hibiscus and lavender show through. More cooler than mead.

Can found at a New West farmer's market. Very pale cloudy white body and some very modest foam on top. Nice cucumber and mint aroma, refreshing and easy. Taste is a very good fresh cucumber, mellow mint notes, and soft mead sweetness to bind it together. Humblebee gets the balance right here, they should take notes for their other ones.

Can from the New West farmer's market. Kind of a light rosé body with very minimal foam that disappears too quick. Lots of citrusy berry aromas on the nose, very slight mead but too faint. Taste is very musty dog hair with mead notes badly melded with berry. Maybe after seven of these it would subside, but I find it hard to like this balance.

Can found at a local farmer's market. Pours with a very bright clear yellow body and foam that disappears far too fast. The aroma is odd, seems like saffron and sweet honey but then also smells like fresh vinyl. Taste is a good bright saffron and some soft citrus, ending a little wet. Mead is a little too subdued. Needs balancing, at the least.

Can found at the New West farmer's market. Deep pink body and good pink foam, looks very artificial though. Hibiscus and lavender on the nose for sure, but there's an earthy mead that comes across like rotten armpits that ruins it. Taste is significantly better with a well balanced soft hibiscus and sweet lavender followed by some meady marzipan and lingering macadamia. Enjoyable if flawed.

355mL can, pours a clear peachy pink with a small beige head. Aroma reveals tart elderberry and muted honey. Flavour is unusual, with gently tart berries, lots of earthy notes, and a touch of honey sweetness. Doesn't taste anything like a mead. More like a cheap fruity drink of some sort. No good.

Original review text: On tap at Train Wreck, pours a clear pale washed out pink with a small white head. Aroma has some elderflower, floral notes in general, and washed out honey. Flavour is earthy, with plenty of floral notes, earthy elderflower and lightly sweet, fermented out, weak honey notes. Again, more like a flavoured honey alcopop. Poor.

Can at Orchard & the Sea, pours a hazy blonde with a tiny, quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma brings out tons of floral, lime leaves upfront, followed by green tea, and subdued honey. Flavour is similar, with lots of kaffir limes, green tea and light residual sweetness. Anything but a complex session mead, but that's to be expected. Okay.
