Draft pour at the Hop and Hound. A cloudy, but bright golden orange pour with a thin, oily head. Spicy rye malt forward aroma as expected. Flavor is cool up front, with a spiced rye transition. Not the biggest rye fan, but I feel like the levels were good here. Good amount of spice. Refreshing to fit with the IPA style. Good beer overall.

Draft 8 oz pour at Geaux, Bellevue. Huge surprise to me, this beer is. Anniversary special beer dat delivers in special quality. Had to. Jet black pour with an active tan foam head. Rich chocolate, vanilla and oak aroma. Flavor is a delicious chocolate and bourbon constant, with a good amount raisin late. Excellent barrel aged stout here. Memorable. Delicious. Love it.

On nitro tap at Geaux, pours black with a creamy tan head. Aroma brings out considerable lactose upfront, with a touch of coffee and cocoa. Flavour is very sweet, with dominating and rather cloying lactose upfront, followed by cocoa and a little coffee. Creamy but cloying. Needs tweaking to clean up the residual sugar.
