On tap at Geaux, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of dry cocoa, a little lactose and oats. Flavour is rather hot, with cocoa, oats and some light lactose. Quite messy and hot. Not the most refined impie, but it's okay.

On tap at Geaux, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of hearty oats upfront, followed by dry cocoa and a touch of coffee. Flavour is rather astringent, with oats and unsweetened dry cocoa. There's a rather harsh astringency on the finish that I could do without. Decent nitro stout, but needs a little work.

On tap at Geaux, pours a deep dark brown with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of rich bourbon upfront, followed by light vanilla. Flavour is likewise rich, with heaps of bourbon and vanilla, almost a tart dark fruitiness that is well-situated and a lovely warming effect. Well-done barrel-aging here. Excellent.

On tap at Geaux, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of oak and vanilla upfront - the oak really steals the show on the nose. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of oak upfront, followed by vanilla and a touch of cocoa. A very complex porter - the oak staves really propel this into excellence.

On tap at Geaux, pours a clear bright golden amber with a small white head. Aroma is very herbal and musty, with lots of earthy, pot-like hops. Flavour bursts with lots of earthy hops, followed by some pine and weed. Tastes better than it smells. Nice stuff.

On tap at Geaux, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a blast of piney, floral hops upfront, with lots of dry hopping. Flavour bursts with a bouquet of complex floral, piney and fruity hops, with some nice floral dry hopping rounding this out. Very nicely constructed, with immense drinkability and depth. Excellent.

On tap at Geaux, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of spicy Belgian yeast, some clove and bananas, though there are rotting vegetables in there as well. Flavour is very spicy, with lots of clove upfront, followed by banana and lightly sweet fruity esters. Not very convincing, but at least not a sickly sweet bomb like so many American tripels.

On tap at Geaux, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted biscuity malt and cereal. Flavour is very clean, with notes of straw, toasted biscuity malt and sweet cereal. Nicely constructed, with more oomph than the average golden ale. Good stuff.

32 oz crowler poured, filled at Geaux. Thanks to Tcon for the share. A copper golden pour with a large soap bubble head. Malt centered aroma. Caramel, slight orange peel, and a minimal hop impression. Flavor is a bit toasty. Malt centered as well, with a nagging hop bitterness that checks in late. No typical fresh hop here, for me anyway. Not bad.
