Draft pour at Sound to Summit, Snohomish. Yellow golden pour with almost no head. Mild aroma, apple and grains. Cool and gentle flavor. Straw, grassy hops. Refreshing and potent at the same time. Fun take on the style for sure. A little different, and this could have gone much worse. Good beer overall.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. Mostly clean copper amber pour with a rocky foam head that lasts. Toasty aroma to this one. Flavor is a similar toasty malt front, with a spice to it. Has a bold side, as well as a sweet, and spicy side to it as well. Fun transition. Hints of metallic, but this is piety flavorful, so it doesn’t seem to interfere. Lingering toasty cereal like grains. Pretty good overall.

Draft pour at Sound to Summit. Pale golden yellow pour with a quick fading head. Very inviting aroma of cool herbs and spice. Flavor is cool and very refreshing. Floral up front, candy apple hints, coriander like spice. Flavorful and quite impressive for a style I typically avoid.

Draft 12 oz pour at Sound to Summit, Snohomish. Dark copper pour with a slow fading head. Malt heavy, caramel dominated aroma. Flavor leans on the malty side as well. Caramel. A heavy IPA feel for me. A bit toasty as well. Hops show up late, grassy, and quite bitter. An alright IPA for me.

On tap at Sound to Summit, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is pretty subdued for an imperial beer, with cereal malt and biscuity malt. Flavour is more abrasive, with crisp biscuity malt, lots of phenols and an abrasive bitterness on the finish. Not sure why of all the imperial beers you could brew, you'd do a kolsch. Doesn't work here.

On tap at Sound to Summit, pours a fairy clear dull blonde with a small white head. Aroma is subdued, with crisp crackery malt and a touch of grassy hops. Flavour is likewise subdued, with dry biscuity malt and very restrained grassy malt. Missing oomph, but it's pleasant enough. Okay.

On tap at Sound to Summit, pours a fairly clear copper wth a small white head. Aroma brings out sole earthy hops, with a slight metallic tinge and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with a sharp earthy, herbal hoppiness, a touch of spiciness, and biscuity malt base. A bit unusual for the style, but it works. Decent.

On tap at Sound to Summit, pours an opaque bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out soft pillow wheat, not much else. Flavour is a bit off-putting, with wheat and some herbal / vegetal qualities that don't seem quite right. Not terrible but they gotta fix this.

On tap at Sound to Summit, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out very restrained floral hops and subdued, characterless biscuity malt to dry it out. Flavour is about the same, with a fairly laid back hoppy dryness and biscuity malt component in decent balance. Not much character to this. Weak and uninspired.

On tap at Sound to Summit, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings is quite fruity, with citrus skins and hazy biscuity notes. Flavour is very sweet like a lemonade, with lots of ascorbic citrus notes and heavy sweetness. Nice as a lemonade, bad as a beer. Meh.
