Golden with a white head. Some light grass, biscuit malt, herbal notes, too. Medium body. Light bite in the finish. Could use a heftier snap at the end but otherwise a tasty brew.

Snagged this off the shelf solely because their other porter was so great I had to assume this would be, too. I wasn’t wrong. Earthy, chocolate, lightly Smokey, roasted, and maybe some sweet biscuit malt. Medium bodied. Really great porter.

12 oz bottle poured. A clean and clear pale gold pour. Active carb. First sip this came off as a macro pale lager, but it grew on me quick. Subtle hop aroma to go with the straw, pils malts. Decent amount of flavor for this mild pils, much of the same from the aroma. Slight grassy character. A bit watery. Not bad.

Bottle. Has a clear straw colour with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma of mango, grass, lemon, spicy hops and dry hay. The flavour has more grassy hops but also more grapefruit, mango, oranges and some alcohol. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and a medium bitterness. Nice fruitiness, tasteful but a little unbalanced.

On tap at Baileys taproom, Portland, Oregon. Has a dark brown to black colour with a compact light brown head. Nicely roasted aroma with nuts, chocolate, leather and coffee beans. The flavour is quite roasted with coffee, ash and very dark chocolate. Has a soft mouth feel, medium body and a medium bitterness. A really tasteful and roasted porter. Solid!

Black with a firm beige head. Burnt malt, cocoa, earth, malt, a bit of ash. Medium bodied. Finish is long, dry and bitter. Pleasant standard porter. Thankful it wasn’t mucked up with coffee or chocolate.

Dullish amber, not much head. Nose showcases brett, some hops (woody, touch fruity). Sweet on the palate and the brett on comes through a little bit in the finish. There’s a bit of caramel sugars, but also cherry esters. Interesting - not 100% cohesive, but interesting.
