Pale pinkish colour. No head. Phenolic nose with some cherry, but yeah nail polish. Harsh acidity, light cherry and nuttiness. So it's the ferm on the base that let's this down -the adjuncts are refined but the base is a clunk show.

Amber. No head. Slight haze. Tart aroma...kettle. The taste is more kettle, with some chile heat, bringing a touch of morita smoke, and a bit of stone fruit sweetness, but also a fair bit of tartness. Mellow...some complexity but I'm not sure the style and nuance is there. In other words, this is really good but won't compare to the greats.

Quite pale, not much head. Hoppy nose with a touch of brett, weedy, pearlike hop notes overtop sweet malts, and a bit of barrel accent. Solid.

So this is a cherry nar wit, and had a pale plummy hue with haze. That's a nice colour. Soft body, light effervescence, touch of cherry, mellow fruit. I like the fruit here, the base not as much.

Pale, hazy, has a decent bitterness, subtle pale malt sweetness. Not bad. The bitterness is a bit clashy here.

Straw colour, thin head, bright. Lots of apricot on the palate, moderate acidity, light body, touch of oak. Good balance to this.

Pale gold, very slight haze, has a nice brett c aroma, on the palate it's more malt, so the balance isn't ideal but it's not bad.

Draft pour during my last visit to Lantern. A nice watermelon like color / appearance. Nice Belgian with a low sweet fruit addition. Juicy with a little funk to it, but not enough to twist the base style. Slightly dry finish. Lingering balance of red fruit and a wheat backbone. Refreshing, easy drinking belgian here.

Draft pour, enjoyed at Lantern Brewing. Cola brown pour. Soft belgian tones to this stout, or so it seems. Oddly sweet cherry notes. Maybe a touch of cocoa under the cherry. Lighter feel to this stout, with kinda an odd array of flavors going on. Strange, but decent for my taste.
