Cloudy amber. The aroma is lightly malty. The taste is more strongly malty, a little bit yeasty, but sort of vague overall.

Brownish-amber. The aroma shows alcohol and a toasty-caramelly malt character. Sweet, but with a hint of yeastiness. Light alcohol taste and again a vague maltiness.

Dark amber turning into brown. Thin head. Aroma of fudge, caramel. The taste is sweetish and yeasty with some toffee and nuttiness.

Hazy reddish-amber with the large, loose head characteristic of bottle-conditioned bitter. The aroma is caramel, toffee and light toast. Sweet, toasty and with caramel in the finish, along with a fair bit of yeastiness.

Dark brown, with a light brown head. Rich molasses aroma with chocolate fudge, like a nice old ale. Creamy body, though it finishes a bit thin and charry. The taste is fairly toffeeis, with subtle chocolate notes.

Hazy dark amber, with a rocky head. The aroma is earthy, spicy with subtle fruitiness and a slightly caramelized malt note. The palate is perhaps duller, with generic caramel and lots of yeastiness.

550ml Bottle (At Jolo’s) - Amber/copper in colour. Blackcurrant, spicy malt and dried fruit in the aroma. Malty and fruity taste with notes of vanilla, dried fruit and hops.
