Aiming to further the ambiance of great brewpubs, Flagbrew (as the locals call it), provides a casual and friendly atmosphere, which anyone should expect from a genuine brewpub. draft at the brewpub - Pours copper with a lingering head that leaves excellent lacing. It smells of fruity, bready malt. The flavor is moderately hopped with a touch of fruit. It finishes dry and bitter.

draft at the brewpub - Pours very dark brown with a tan head that lasts and laces well. It smells of dark roast malt and has flavors of those same malts, chocolate, and a little dark fruit. It’s medium bodied and moderately bitter. Maybe they pumped up the hops on this one from prior years.

Draft at the brewpub - Pours dark amber with a thin head. It has a sweet caramel malt with some other rather odd flavors that I couldn’t identify. Medium bodied and lightly carbonated, it’s easy to drink from that standpoint, but as I said, a little off somehow.
