On tap at Jasper Brewing, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lightly grassy hops and very subtle spicy hops. Flavour is very lightly grassy and hoppy, with a dry body. Refreshing and drinkable, yet nothing special. Decent pils.

650mL bottle, pours a dark golden orange with a small off-white head. Nose brings out Jack Daniel's barrels upfront, with caramel, some residual sugars and a little caramel. Flavour brings out load of Jack Daniel's barrels - very cheap-tasting and amateur. Not complex at all, with no complexity or elegance. Very weak barley wine.

Draft - Sweet perfumy grains. Gold with a rich white head. This is not like any pilsner I have ever had. So much perfumy grains, sweet with little bitterness and not as crisp or refreshing as I would like.

Draft - Roasted malts, molasses etc. A Guinness in look and smell. Black with a Denise’s perfect, almost artificial looking head. Chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla and a nice finish. Nothing unique or spectacular, but just really well executed.

Bottle - Batch #489 - Roasted malts, vinegar, molasses and smoke. Jet black and no head. A nice smoked porter, with a bit of vinegar . Body is a bit on the light side but very nice.

Growler 2 months old - Fresh pine and sweet malts. Cloudy brown with a thin head. Pine and sweet citrus with a quick hit of bitterness that fades nicely. Still my favourite IPA in Alberta. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Growler - Smells like toast and real blueberry jam with fresh cream. Slightly cloudy amber with no head. Blueberry with some acidity and bitterness. The vanilla comes across like cream. The finish is a bit cloying.
