Draft. Golden body with a short, frothy white head. Light aroma of orange, citrus, caramel, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Surprisingly sheepish flavors for a 7.6% beer. Sweet for sure with some orange and caramel and alcohol in the finish. More a pale ale with high ABV.

Draft. Brown body with short off-white head. Aroma of sweet toffee, grain, hint of mustiness. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, moderate to lively carbonation. Missing musty, basement, earthy, dark fruit characteristics of better dubbels. A raw graininess pushes aside any sweet, candy flavors. Light astringency in finish. Clunky.
