On tap at Five and Dime. Golden stout... Pours gold. Aroma is somewhat artificial: macadamia nut, cream, light chocolate. Flavor is the same... very sweet, again somewhat artificial.

Bottle from vintage. Pour is dark like cola or root beer. Does not appear viscous. Smell is chocolate something. Taste is darker stout with burnt chocolate and perhaps some mint. Not overly minty. Does have a unique civility about it. Better than expected. Tolerable for a mint beer. Decent carbonation as well. Low alky does it well.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy tan head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was mint chocolate cookies. The flavor was mint chocolate cookies, then turns dry, roasty and bitter. Very long finish with lingering mint. Moderately full bodied.

Sampled on draft at Hugo's this beer poured a yellow-gold color with an enormous foamy white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was apricot, pine, cactus and a bit of cat pee. The flavor was bitter yet sweet with cactus, cat pee, apricot and yeast. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

16 ounce can. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head. A nice sweet floral and herbal nose. Sweet, toast, some lemons, big herbal tea. Solid flavors. A good IPA.

Yes, it is black and blue because it looks like a bruise, no shit! Cloudy purple-ish. Smells like berry fruit perfumed sex BO. Difficult and rude at first. Fruity taste on top of IPA. Weird combination. Chewing on a green grapefruit find all along. A little fruit balnces this tuff IPA out biut its not repeatable.
