What’s up with these side track #’s? Just say wht it is and this is a penssylvania based ale. Pennsylvania it is! That’s the place to be, especially in the ’burgh. Tap @ IPH 2 weeks ago. Slight haze on a pale brew. Taste is mild hop bitter bite. Never over the top. Can’t really get the grape juice, dude. I would have never known this is a fruit beer, no lie. Fairly easy beer drinken experience. Easy going and relatively civilized. Pretty good co2 effects throughout. Considering this is a domestic ale, not bad!

Tap at industry public house in robinson last week. Looks like iced tea. Sweet nutty aroma. Hops mixed with sweeter nearly cloying tastes. Yes, must be those peekanns. Nearly cloying sweet effects keep trying to poke their ugly head up. Maple syrup starts to peak thru. Did I say almost sweet or really sweet? You can tell this is 8%, lost of alky impact. The alky is readily there for you to witness.

Listed as Rusty Rail Plums Up at the IPH in robinson. I hope this is the right spot to put this, its listed as a belgian strong ale at 9%. Light red orange. Little nose. Stranger flat brew. Nothing near 9% impressions. Some sweetness in there fer sure on the backwash. Not bad fer a strong ale. More reserved than most domestic wannah bee strong ales. Comes across quite civilized. Yes, a very good domestic strong ale that rises to the occasion of real belgians. I’ll tell yay, if this a seasonal holiday brew, its much better than expected. Never in yer face with the spices.

My computer just erased my 20 minutes of rating, I pressed a stupid key by mistake and its all gone, BS! Oh well, I’m pissed, but lets try again any-who. Better to be pissed off rather than pissed on I say, unless, of course, its some fox looking to give me a golden shower, heheheeyyah. This is a bottle that has a beer the color of a yuengy, a cloudy iced tea appearance. Big rocky head. A taste that borders on the effects of mild IPA. Yes, its is in IPA territory with a medium bitter finish that lasts for quite a long time. The co2 however is quite good and sexily much appreciated. Decent mild per-fumy hop sweet aroma as well, just like many IPA. Purtty good for a high hopped brew, not bad. Quite interesting, considering its IPA origins. In the end, does come across like a decent ipa, yes, more like a mild IPA I’d say. Not bad, the co2 makes it quite palatable to the lager lover.

Bot market place. Large and in charge with its typically big sweeter impy stout volatile nose and impressive black color. First taste is warming thicker beer palate with a burned dark chocolate likker attribute. Difficult alky laced aged damp burned bark of a impy stout tree. Terribly on style. Looks like the recipe for good ol’ honest imp stout is well known. A little reminiscent of dizzying dark beer nightmares in the past. Mouth coating difficult session. Not sure about the coffee but now that I’m reminded perhaps there is some burnt coffee in thar. Each swig is a metamorphosis of sweet nose, aesthetically black, big, impressive, high alky, kick you in the brain, impressive, charcoal brewed, imp stout bark,.....beer. Whew. Impressive. So this is why impressive and imperial stout both start with imp.

Bot from market district. This is terribly on style bitter nasty IPA that infringes the double IPA territory, if you like IPA, ignore my numbers, this stuff is so freeking full of hop flavor, it overwhelms your senses. My girlie taste buds just can’t handle it, whewwie.

Bottle. Market district. Correct name is Blue Collar Blonde. First impressions are good. Friendly beer aroma and there is an intriguing cutting sizzle on the palate as well. Somewhat citrusy but not overly hopped thank you. Yes, foaming cutting co2 makes this pretty exciting. Nifty wording in the description as well. The flavor really begins to show itself when you finally get over the carbonation. Yes, a tad of well behaved friendly hops keeps you on edge but its never over the top; well controlled, well balanced. Each sip is never a let down, its really starting to grow on me! Overall very good beer drinking experience, would like to get a sickser of these. Yummy! Yea, this stuff is pretty good, pissed that its all gone!

Sample at GABF 10/08/2016, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Brown-black color with a medium tan head that recedes gradually. Partial rings of lace. Malt, coffee and chocolate aroma. Medium to full body with flavors of roasted coffee, cocoa, malt and mild hops. The finish is roasty coffee and malt. Decent overall.
