On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale gold with a white ring. Honey and green apple aroma. Sweet red and green apple flavor, light honey, with a pretty clean finish. Very pleasant.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, light banana/clove, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, light banana/clove, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness and yeast spiciness balance. Mild lingering hop astringency after the finish, but not overwhelming. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness and yeast spiciness. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. No warming alcohol for 6.7%. Overall this is as delicious Belgian IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink, despite the fairly aggressive bitter/spicy/resinous/drying finish. Great balance of vibrant/dank/earthy hops and Belgian yeast complexity; solid pale malt backbone, no residual sweetness from bitter/spicy dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

On tap at Stormcloud. Pours a clear light gold with a white head. Light wheat in the aroma. Flavor is light yeasty clove, wheat. Tastes fine, but too light for me.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a very deep brown with a very light tan head. Coffee and roasty aroma. Flavor has coffee, roastiness, cocoa, brown sugar, cream. Quite a well done oatmeal stout actually.

On tap at the brewery. Brown pour with a white head. Aroma has a whole lot of coconut, hiding a bit of chocolate. Flavor has chocolate, caramel, molasses, mixing nicely into the coconut. This just works really well.

Accidental re-rate, just listed as BBA Gerald's Talking Dog this time. On tap at the Stormcloud Brewpub, tried right after the non-BBA version. 2020 vintage aged in Iron Fish bourbon barrels served in 2022. Pours brown with an off-white head, notably darker than the original. Creamy bourbony oak aroma. Flavor of bourbony oak, red grape, earthy, with a red cherry brightness. Not bad at all.
On tap at Stormcloud. Pours a deeper brown with an off-white head. Bourbon brown sugar aroma, fruity. Bourbon, cherry, and molasses flavors, red apple, caramel. On the lighter side of bourbon-aged beers. Quite nice. 7/4/8/4/15/3.8

On tap at Stormcloud. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Floral and perfumy aroma. Flavor is again floral, perfumy, yeasty, white grape, candy, and pale malt. It seems well-made, but the perfumy floral flavors don’t totally appeal to me in this beer.
