Smoked chocolate malt and hay aroma. Dark chestnut brown with brown head. Moderately sweet smoky chocolate rye malt, and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Nice body and balance. An excellent beer.

Draft: Lightly hazy golden-yellow with a white head. Light grain malt, a bit of honey in aroma and flavour. Sweet grain malt dominates, but not to the point of being sticky or corny. Nice body....good carbonation. A good one.
