Great Flood Brewing Company opened in April of 2014 and has established itself as a fan favorite in the Highlands. Brewer-owned and operated, Great Flood was founded and built from scratch by a trio of young home-brewers turned entrepreneurs.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange with small off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is strong pine and citrus. Medium body, pine, toast, light resin finish, good.

750ml bottle courtesy of Rich. Silky smooth pour, black and oily, nice roasty smell. So smooth, that you don’t notice the high ABV, until much later. Taste is rich roasted grains, some of the barrel notes and inherent bourbon flavors. Long lingering finish.

Draft. Woody pecan, toasted bread malt, and hay aroma. Dark brown with small head. Mildly sweet nutty chocolate/bready malt and moderately bitter hay flavor. Good body. Very nice.

Draft. Lemonade, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Lightly sweet lemon juice, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Okay body. Decent wheat beer.

På fat District Taphouse Lite söt bärig doft. Smaken ? Bärig och massor frukt. Men faaan vad mycket röda bär som sen tonar ut.. Lagom kolsyrad rejäl efterbeska. Helvete inte nån alkohol slår igenom. Fyllig jävel Kanske nåååågot för besk för att få topp.

Bottle share. Deep brown color, small beige head. Nose is heavy coffee, nutty, roast, light bourbon. Taste is roast, light bitters. Nuts and roast, light bourbon. Very good.

Bottle share hazy chestnut brown sturdy light tan head nice but only aromas and flavors without the huge over the top stout roastiness. A big brown ale. Very nice

Bottle share thanks to BooseBeerGuy. Very sweet. Barrel aging elements muted, somewhat fruity, but no evidence of the 12% ABV.
