Pours near black with a light tan head. It smells of dark roast malt and resinous hops. The flavor is aggressively bitter with ample roast malt, the piney, resinous hops blending well with the stout characteristics. It's exactly what it says it is, a good, straightforward black IPA.

Pours hazy copper with a dense head that laces well. The smell is odd. There seems to be a metallic quality to it. It tastes off too. There's mild bitterness, some caramel, and a thin body. An unpleasant flavor spoils it. Maybe this keg is off? I see some other ratings on another site that thought it was fine.
