On tap at Terra Firma. Pours dark brown with a very light tan head. Roasty cocoa and orange aroma. Orange chocolate flavor, ashen cocoa and coffee, molasses and raisin. Well done.

On tap at Terra Firma. Pours a golden amber, clear, with a white head. Spicy, floral, and citrus hop aromas. Floral and herbal hop flavors with spiciness. Solid.

On tap at Terra Firma. Pours clear golden with a white head. Light citrus hop aroma with light grain. Light citrus and herbal flavors with a bit of toasty malt. Pretty nice.

On tap at Terra Firma. Pours a pale clear gold with a white head. Honey, herbal, bready aroma. Herbal honey, floral flavor, possibly a basil hint, light toasty bread. A quality beer, but light.

On tap at MBGSF 2015. Pours a deep amber with an off-white head. For aroma I mainly just get butterscotch. Butterscotch flavor as well, toasty malt, and berry. Wasn’t too big a fan of this one, which is unfortunate because I’ve enjoyed every other beer I’ve had from these folks.

Rerate at the brewery 25-Aug-2015. Pretty much the same, but some more hops in there. Still not great.

Hearthside Cinnamon Vanilla Bourbon Stout from Brewery Terra Firma

On tap at Terra Firma. Pours deep brown with a light tan head. Cinnamon and raisin aroma. Flavors of cinnamon, raisin, brown sugar. Sweet, and kind of like a gingerbread cookie. But that cinnamon is the most prevalent flavor. Not much sign of the bourbon.

Alice Unfettered IPA from Brewery Terra Firma

On tap at Terra Firma. Pours an amber orange with a white head. Citrus, pine, and herbal hop aromas. Herbal, floral, and citrus hop flavors, some biscuit malts. Nice moderate bitterness. Not sure why I like it so much, but I do.

On tap at Terra Firma. Pours a gold amber with a white head. Caramel malty and citrus aroma. Malty biscuit flavor with citrus and herbal hops, caramel and butterscotch. Fresh and frankly very nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a deep amber, almost reddish, with an off-white head. Citrus, tropical fruit, berry aromas. Sweet berry, citrus, and tropical flavors. Nice, but didn’t stand out to me.
