Poured from a 16 oz can. Light notes of passion fruit, tropical citrus, berry and oily resin. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes.
Aroma is a bit muted with moderate hop notes.
Pours a fairly clear, golden color with a large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Fairly high lacing and small legs.
Flavor is slightly sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. Medium high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderate hop notes with grapefruit, pine resin and oily resin dominating followed by passion fruit, tropical citrus and berries.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, an alright beer but it's not very hoppy in the aroma or flavor. They must have double dry hopped this with a single hop cone each time. So little hop aroma or flavor that it's disappointing. I am starting to feel like that is the MO for Humble Sea. I always expect their beers to be happier than they are. Malt, bitterness and alcohol are well balanced.
