16oz can from Tavour. Dark, clear brown pour, foamy beige head. Light roasty aroma, woody. Taste adds some sweetness up front before sinking back into the mild roasty bitterness. Oak-y notes abound. Lingering bitterness.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear dark mahogany with a rather transient beige head. Aroma is light toffee/roast. Med body. Malty but towards dry. Bitter enough to deal with the malt. Roasty/toffee/tmavy malt flavor. Some lightly astringent wood notes. Over all it is quite pleasing.

Tons of coffee. Light lime. Coffee kind of takes over the big malt flavor milds otherwise have. Bitter end. Tap at brewery.

16 ounce can. Dark amber pour. Large rocky tan head. Toasted malt aroma has a hint smokiness. Flavor is tangy malt and a bit of toffee and brewed tea. Some spicy hops on backend. Excellent interpretation of the classic style.
