Can from Tavour. Pours somewhat translucent gold with a huge foamy white head that slowly laced down. Aroma of banana and yeast. Med body. Flavor is banana, mild yeast/spice, buckwheat, and light oak astringency. Quite dry and bitter enough. Very good flavor, tho for me it could be stronger.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brown with a large foamy tan head that didn't last very long. Aroma of dark malt with notes of anise and chocolate. Med body. Not dry, but barely sweet. Bitter. But the real deal is the dark grape and bourbon notes. There's even some oak astringency. Amazingly tasty beer.

16oz a leggy, root beer brown with some Grey, clumpy head. Nose has booze off the top, but settles into malt, carob, anise and witchhazel, arak. Malt and black licorice in the mouth, anise, birch. Booze takes a back seat thankfully. Still there though. Oily, long, boozy, full bodied finish. EP blends very well.

16oz can from Tavour. It's been a great festbier season so far! Clear golden pour, head fades quickly to foamy ring. Light malty aroma, minor sweetness. Taste is malty, caramel, bready, sweet; with a touch of dryness at the finish.

Can from Tavour: pours gold with white head. Aroma is orangey citrus, Belgian yeast, mellow tropical notes, but Riwaka is doing very different things than in an IPA. Fairly dry, but still obviously sweet. Ample amount of body. Pretty solid.
